Post by: pedalman on July 01, 2012, 11:41:09 am
Where are the fuses for the auto A/C on a 2000 U295?

            Thanks,

Mine are under the bed in the front of the engine comp.

If not in the front of the bed 12 VDC panel then it's likely in the automotive fuse panel in front of the passenger seat.  If these are not readable as labeled, the electrical drawings will have the location No. and amperage.

Although it might not have any bearing on your coach, our '93 has some of its 12vdc breakers behind a fiberglass panel against the forward bulkhead in the battery bay. I suspect that FT put them there just to test our ability to track them down. :)

Not sure what problem you are having, but if the compressor clutch is not engaging, check the freon pressure.  Low pressure will prevent the clutch from engaging.  On my coach, the power to the compressor clutch is protected by an automatically resetiing circuit breaker located on the front wall of the engine compartment (under the bed).  There is also a relay located in the same area.  If freon pressure is normal, you can check them.  But, if the system has a leak and has lost pressure, fixing the leak and recharging is the only solution.
