Title: Dash Fuse Box
Post by: Yetch on July 21, 2012, 08:54:20 am
Can someone tell me where the 'Dash Fuse Box' may be located on a '97 U320?  The wiring diagram indicates there is one, fed by a 30 amp relay, but I can not find it.  It makes reference to a drawing, but I don't have it.  Specifically looking for fuse/relay for the the am/fm radio in dash. It is not in the electrical box in front of pax seat, nor can I locate it behind instrument panel.
Thanks, Mike

Check bay wall behind white fiberglass removable panel. There are a string of 12-volt breakers that do not turn off with house battery disconnect.

Can you be a bit more specific?
Thanks, Mike

Page 8.7, Owners Manual:  There are several manual reset 12 volt breakers located on a panel in the storage compartment forward of the utility station.  It has a fiberglass cover held in place with a couple of wing nuts.  They are not labeled, but are on wiring diagram B-2126 in the manual.  Didn't solve my problem though.  There is an automatic resetable breaker somewhere controlling the power to my am/fm radio.  It will get power momentarily, then loose power.  With in a little while the power will be back, until I put power to the radio again.  Will call MOT on Monday.
