Planning on trip to Black Hills/Custer, SD, to stop by HWH for a check over/repair air leak for slide seal compressor.
Anyone have good experience there, also I have tried to communicate via email with them for setting a schedule for service, however I guess a telephone call is the only method.

Dave, we were at HWH July 2nd for a master level system light on the dash. We did not stay in their gravel lot with shared power. We overnighted at the Kum and Go right at the exit.
Now for service. It was ok. The service tech did not understand the operation of our slides and thought it was out of alignment and then overrode the locks and damaged the bottom of our living room slide. I was not a happy camper to say the least. Now I will say, they were very up front with the mistake and they paid for the repairs at FOT.
Would I go back?... Probably not as we are close to FOT. They are very nice up there but you must ask them how they will repair the issue and stay on their butts.
Just my two cents worth!

I used phone support and sent a leveling controller via USPS for repair. Service was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. It was a simple problem and I was not in a hurry.
I had the same experience as J.D. Stevens. Did the trouble shooting by telephone, found a loose fuse holder solder joint, sent HWH the controller which they repaired, tested and returned in a few days. They charged a half hour labor. My level ride would not work after traveling East on I-84 through New York to PA.
Dave, I have been there a bunch of times. They will work on you till they get it right or they can fix it or if they can not fix it. You need to call and set an appointment. Also they are open every night but sunday if you come in. THey have electric for you. When are you planning on going?
Bolding is mine. Your experience (especially since I know that both FOT and you had already diagnosed the problem
with their engineering department yet their service people actively chose to ignore that info) is very disturbing and for us, I would hard pressed to consider using their service department for our coach. No issues with the engineering/phone technical support.

They have one service tech that understands our coach. If he is not in then they should bring down the engineer. MOT and FOT both call and talk to both of those guys to troubleshoot. I was there when FOT called in fact. We laughed that I was there and I knew the answer and the caller did not. I think if you talk to them and tell then you have a FT and ask if Stacy is in then you will have a good experience.
I had to deal with them on the phone about 4 yrs ago when I had the 93 GV with kick down jacks 610. They would not work at all right, and after a few calls I was able to find the problems (ground wiring issues which is what controls the actios) and they sent me sets of O rings for 4 pack. I serviced all the jacks, pump and replaced the connectors all around then found a damadged cylinder piston which I sent to them and they rebuilt. The whole thing was done over the phone and I seem to remember total cost was $300 which was great. I became very familiar with that system and the tech guy said "now you know as much as me, so open up a service centre in my area as they did not have any"
One of the best experiences I have had with a company.
