Title: Fuel Line leaking
Post by: gary.waltho on August 16, 2012, 04:47:58 pm
How can you access the fuel lines from the fuel tank on a 1986 Grand Villa 40' diesel pusher.

You will have to drop the fuel tank as it is between the frame rails There is a frame under the tank that is hung there with 4 j bolts. It is the best if the tank is mostly empty. I always used the hydraulic jacks to raise the coach and then put jack stands under the frame to support the vehicle. I am guessing from your post that this is not a unicoach, but a grand villa built on the oshkosh chassis.

Thank you Red Tractoir, I suspected I would have to drop the tak. I was hoping there was another option.

If you are careful the fill hose line can remain connected, but you have to remove one muffler style clamp on the metal section of the fuel fill to allow it to let the tank come down, good luck Ron
