Title: Ceiling vent deflectors (was Re: What did you do to your coach today)
Post by: John Haygarth on August 31, 2012, 06:53:59 pm
well I noticed a while back that as the previous owner used the AC a fair bit, there is a slight change of colour in the ceiling lining above the vents in the living area which are in the wooden panel at the ceiling change of height. I decided to make a couple of deflectors to direct the air flow (when ever we would use it) more forward and away from lining. The pics show first the unfinished stainless peice then painted gold, and the panel without it and lastly installed. It actually looks fine and does not really look out of place which was my only concern.

Thanks guys for the kind words. I made them to suit after sitting looking at the vents for a few days-thinking. My Brother gave me some sheet stainless to use. I was not going to paint them but holding them in place all polished looked like chrome and we all have gold looking stuff so I painted them gloss gold.
