Title: HWH slide room
Post by: lavocat on September 21, 2012, 06:56:54 pm
On my 2006 Phenix one of my bedroom slides will not go in.  The yellow light just keeps blinking even though the air bladder has deflated.  I have tried resetting the HWH button on more than one occassion with no luck.  Fortunately I am in my drive way.  I put the slides out to wash it and plan on waxing tomorrow but need the slide in so I can pull into the garage.  Any help would be appreciated either through a response here or by phone 337-580-1958.
Thanks,
Gerard

I would be calling FOT and/or MOT, they both are great on helping on these tech issues.

I had called FOT and was waiting on call back when I posted. Bob Ireland was on call and we unplugged the pressure switch for that room and rep lugged and it reset itself and worked. Will cy le it tomorrow and see what happens.

That's what I was thinking, a pressure switch issue. Would be interested in what else you may find and if you have any other issues with it.

Well I recycled the slide and it went out fine but won't come back in again.  Plan to investigate further this afternoon.  Could be the pressure switch or a computer issue.

We think we have isolated the problem to the pressure switch and I should have one arrive today.  Now I just ned to figure out how to change it.  Has anyone done this before?

Well they sent the entire assembly with the switch and brass piece as one.  Easy swap just trun off air, unplug switch and then unscrew from brass housing and install new one.  Back up and working and I will keep an eye out for a leak now.

Thanks for the update. Can you list the part number they sent? Seems I may want to order one of these to keep as a spare.

I am not sure I have the box any longer.  In my haste it may have been thrown out but you can get the number from FOT.
