Having trouble with the upper locking pins, not lining up on top of slide. Slide is tilted slightly in towards coach on top. (Top goes in farther than bottom; bottom is flush with outside wall when slide is in). Any recommendations on how to fix and/or adjust? Have a call into HWH - waiting for them to call me back.
Bob, is it not dropping the pins or is it dropping them into the fiberglass. I had that happen when it was nto all the way in. If it is not dropping the pins and it looks lined up, the simple thing is to look and see if one of the sensors moved a bit. You can also swap them as that does it sometimes but it is not a real fix.
There is not an upper arm to pull in the slide. There are also shims in there. I have taken the whole thing apart a couple times. Start by taking the header off and if you have to take off the side pieces so you can see the operation of the slide. Also look underneath the sofa and see if you see any large washers. they are shims.
It's dropping the pins into the fiberglass;missing the holes. The top of slide comes in approx 1 1/2" too far.
You need to see if the shims are still in place. IT should not drop the pins in to the fiberglass. There is a sensor right on the top block. I would look at those and see how the system is working with those. Pull them way up and and watch it come in. It should not pin or remove them all together and watch it come in and then you are going to have to find the shims. It sounds as though it is pulling in too far and the bottom is being stopped. You have two scissors type arms on the slide, one on each side. I would look there first. It should nto be pinning if the sensor is not sensing right and a hole in the fiberglass is not right.
also call James Triana tomorrow at FT with your unit number he might be able to tell you where to start as well.
I hope this is the right manual
