I have lost track with one of our former members, Jim & Sim Scudder. He moved to Thailand and kept up his website, but now it is gone. The two e-mail addresses I had for him keep bouncing. I'd very much appreciate it if someone on this board knows how I can get back in touch with either of these two wonderful people. I was privileged to meet them face-to-face at Camp Foretravel back in January 2007 and followed them during their travels in their FT and then for a little over a couple years while they lived in Thailand. I just realized a few weeks ago, :-[ that I had NOT heard from them.
Any help would be most appreciated!
They were last on the Forum back in May. I don't know if a PM to them would work or not (it uses a yahoo.com e-mail address)

I used to communicate with him for a while then the emails bounced back too.
I saw on his blog picture site this picture. I know he had a very bad heart and it was amazing that he was alive. I know in talking to them when they were visiting us at my home, that he was going to move to Thiland so that Sim would have family around if something happened to him. Looking at these pictures, I do not like what I see.

I Googled Sim Scudder and she has a Facebook page. It's private so you'd have to send her a friend request.

Jim's story on the symptoms of his major heart attack allowed me to identify mine. He saved my life and I am forever in his debt.
Those photos were from one of the last entries he made on his blog ... I think Oct or Nov of 2011. He had had a stroke, but was recovering very well in the hospital with no severe effects except fatigue. The candles and flowers were from a festival that they attended around the same time. I really wanted to find out if they ever resolved the difficulties with the property they had purchased and could begin building their home. There was some issue with a neighbor and an easement, I think.
Actually, they both have Facebook pages ... it appears Jim is alive and well!
Jim and or Sim is online! Just an FYI.
