Title: Clothes pin seat belt adjuster
Post by: Dick S on October 25, 2012, 05:02:58 pm
I probably got this idea from this forum, but we use it so often, I think it's worth another look. The pins keep the belt off your neck and are sure easy to adjust.

Hi Dick & Rocky,
I also love the clamp on the seat belt to prevent choking me, I use a hevy spring clamp, use one on all my vehicles, hate the choke effect, know the EPA or OSHA is trying to protect me, even if it kills me.
Trust the hot water is still workng great  ;D
Cheers
Dave M

I thought that I was the only one with this Boa constrictor problem. Every time I exhaled the seat belt tightened.
With the clamp on the seat belt I can reach the radio dial now.

PEP Boys has a seat belt "paper clip" like device that goes on the lower belt and allows you to put the cross-shoulder belt into it in a manner that allows you to adjust where the cross-shoulder belt comes  up. It is very convenient and does not require removal between uses. Might give it a try. I have used it with much success for years. The last pair I got cost less than $6.00. Sorry but cannot remember the name this late in the evening.
