On eBay there is a small travel trailer up for auction which the owner says is a Foretravel..but has a Trailblazer emblem. This got the DW and I discussing whether FT ever branched out to make customized trailers or 5ers in the past? I could envision someone wanting such a trailer along w/ their custom coach for aesthetics reasons etc.
Any knowledge of this out there?
When I visited FOT in April 2010, there was a Foretravel 5th wheel. horse trailer - home on wheels combination on display. I was told by Tyle that they were in great demand.
I can verify that FOT does construct the interiors of some fine stock trailers. We looked at a couple of them when we did a factory tour. They were building the living quarters for humans in a couple of trailers designed for horses and trainers.
I went to ebay and checked out the "foretravel" trailblazer. It certainly does not seem to be a real foretravel to me. Foretravel started working on horsetrailers and the ones I have seen photos of look nothing like this on on Ebay. Just my opinion, this is not one. I think it is fanciful marketing on the part of the seller on ebay. cks
It appears that Trail Blazer trailers were manufactured by Thor America. Of course going back that far who knows, they could have been an independent company at that time or maybe Foretravel stuck their toe in the trailer waters back then. It does kinda look like the old Foretravel motorhomes.
