Earlier this year I purchased a new 4008 fresh water pump from ShurFlo for $62.95. I installed it, yes by myself without either Steve or Dave, in June. It failed in September. Fortunately I had my old pump with me so I didn't try to get it replaced under warranty until the middle of October. It was purchased from American RV online so I sent them an email and was referred to Keith at ShurFlo customer service the next day. All that was required was that I send a copy of the original purchase receipt and to peel the label off of the failed pump then mail them to ShurFlo in California. I received the replacement pump in 5 days from the date I mailed the documentation. Everything was handled by email, US mail and FedX.
I think I got GREAT Customer Service from both American RV and from ShurFlo.
