Title: Foretravel's Johanna Long
Post by: Pierce & Gaylie Stewart on November 17, 2012, 01:57:44 pm
Was watching SPEED - The Motor Sports Authority (http://www.speedtv.com) and caught a good interview with Johanna Long, the driver of the Foretravel sponsored #70 in the Nationwide race today.

Here is her postcard: 2012 Johanna Long 2nd Version "Fore Travel" 70 NASCAR Nationwide Postcard | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-JOHANNA-LONG-2ND-VERSION-FORE-TRAVEL-70-NASCAR-NATIONWIDE-POSTCARD-/110898615872)

The race should be on TV from Homestead, FL at 4:30 eastern time.

Would still be trading paint but it bankrupted my sponsor once and almost me.

Go Johanna!

At race right now, lots of Danica hype, but would love to see what Joanna could do if Mary Lou Motorsport (Foretravel) had budget to afford the type of equipment Danica gets to drive.

Tim,

People just don't realize how expensive it is to race a season. Each engine costs more than two U300s like mine. I thought the tires were expensive at $80 but now, they cost $300 each. There are dozens of chassis adjustments to be made and only the top crew chiefs can dial it in most of the time. You see what happened when the sun went down tonight to the handling.

Sure that Johanna could be toward the front with more sponsor $$$.

Enjoy the race, Tim. HD TV is the best I can do tonight.

Just had a heavy crash on inside wall, send the repair bill to Joey Logano.

Haven't seen any FT here, probably one in the driver paddock...,:-)
