On my 06 Phenix I have a problem with the keyless entry keypad. The 0 key does not work. All other keys do work. Unfortunately I need the 0 key. Any thoughts or experience with such a problem?
Thanks,
Gerard
This is a wild guess, but my new keyless keypad uses a battery, to replace it, unscrew the touch pad from the door, and replace the battery, the origional had a bunch of wires between the door and the controller in dash, well when the door was removed, the wires were cut and shorted and burnt up the controller, why the new system.
My point: you have an older coach, 06 I think, 6 yr old battery, and wondering if the little battery is still up to snuff ? or you need to replace the keypad ?

If you want to go the replacement route, Foretravel was using TriMark, which will sell to us.

We purchased a new style TriMark grab bar for an updated look directly from them. We found their customer support helpful.
Barry, I had a look at the Trimark site but could not find any prices. May I ask what the new handle/keyless system cost. I know that you most probably installed it.

Dave, I can not imagine that it is a battery issue since all keys other than the zero key work.
One thing you might consider is (if you can) change your code to open to a number that does not require a zero? I realize that this does not fix the pad, but it would eliminate your entry issue. This might be the easiest and cheapest solution. cks
You might ping John Lang to see if he has any ideas - I remember he had a problem with the keypad on his Nimbus Remote Locking Keypad (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=9982.0)
John,
We purchased a new 18" TriMark grab handle part number 22956-01 for $100 to give our painted coach an updated look.
Our handle is the same one that Foretravel has used, but ours has identical bottom and top mounting parts. Neither mounting part has a keyless keypad, but one part has a single LED which illuminates the handle. Our coach does not have keyless entry and a new keypad would most likely not work with an existing keyless system. We installed the handle which was no problem.

I had a keyless entry on my coach, an 01 but they stopped making it and i had to change out the whole thing. I think I have what is on your coach now so you should be able to get just the keypad part.
