Last year about this time I asked for info on places to go and see or do for trip planning. From your input we went to Custer State park, Mt Rushmore and Yellowstone. Really a great trip. Branson has been a good trip for us and I am sure we will go again this year. Thinking of a National Good Sam's rally as we went to one of those in Louisville and what a great rally they have. Then there is Disneyworld and Golf Hall of Fame and Nashville. What does anyone suggest. tks DAN
Go to Disney before spring break as it is both cheaper and there is not as many people in the lines. Then another trip you can swing up the East coast. Lots to see and do from old plantation citys to DC and the national parks. Plan that trip to end up in TN for the GV this year.
If you're going to be in FL, then add Saint Augustine (St. Augustine, FL | St. Augustine, FL | OldCity.com (http://www.oldcity.com/)) to your visit for a day. The fort ( Castillo de San Marcos National Monument - Castillo De San Marcos National (http://www.nps.gov/casa/index.htm)) is worth a tour and the rest of the downtown is just a walking tour of lot's of art shops. I would suggest either Pecan Park or Flamingo RV Park in Jacksonville as a place to stay and then just drive to 30 miles to St. Augustine. You'll pass the Golf Hall of Fame on your way :) I like that place as well, but it's really a lot of shops. They do have a golf shop that HUGE and fun to walk around.
Going to the Diesel RV clubs Rally in Cody, Wy. June 2nd -07th. From there maybe the FMCA Intenational Family Reunion rally in Gillette, Wy. the 19th-22nd. Chappell
