Started the coach and genset this morning and warmed them up. I have had an air leak that I have not been able to find. After shutting everything down I could hear air leaking under the dash . After some investigation I found this was the culprit. The leak is the bottom fitting.
So, can someone tell me what it is? And the best way to fix it? I assume that this is a compression fitting and I can get parts at Napa or hardware store.

Looks like the air horn solenoid, but connector wires are disconnected, which would prevent air horn sound. So if wires are off and air horn works, it is not the air horn solenoid.
If the fitting is leaking, tighten it or replace standard compression fitting. If wires are not needed, then just bypass the unit if the solenoid is leaking.
Barry, That makes sense. I thought it might be a solenoid for the dash air gauges. I disconnected the wires so I could pull it down to get at it. It is leaking pretty good so I think I will go get a new compression fitting.

Try your horn button to see if it does not work, then plug in wires and try again to be sure it is the air horn solenoid. I will put my head out the window to see if I can hear your air horn in Quartzsite.
hard to tell but looks like same size as a water hose to ice maker for refrigerator. You may wish to look at that if you agree. If that is what size it is, would be easy to get and fix at a local hardware or appliance dealer (and relatively inexpensive).
Dean, what ever you do make sure there is no air in the system before you work on it,if it is leaking from the bottom fitting,it is a push together fitting, you can push the small black ring in and pull the tubbing out and cut off about a half inch and insert it back in the fitting,this will work about 90% of the time.

Yep, it cost me a whole $2.99 at the local hardware store for a 1/4"x1/8 mpt. compression fitting. Of course I had to go twice before getting the right one.
Bill, that's the first thing I did was dump all the air. I thought about cutting the line back and reseating it but I am not a big fan of those push on type fittings. Just more comfortable with the nut and ferrule type.

Actually Jeff as of this morning you are right. 40-F here right now, weather.com says it's 28-F in Quartzsite. That is crazy....

82 and sunny here in FL.
Which is why we'll be staying here for a while, Wachula, Fl but it is suppose to warm up in Q this week. Had thought about going but one look at the temps and DW squashed those thoughts.
With 80 degree temps here in FL the pool temp is right at 88 degreees, delightful. :)

Well it appears that the Hadley horn solenoid air leak is the one I have been trying to find. It's been three days and both dash gauges are holding steady at 80 psi. Guess I never thought to crawl under the dash to look for air leaks.
