So during this trip from Texas to Palm Springs, when the AH would fire on diesel, I was getting a very faint diesel burn fumes inside the coach. We would only run on diesel for one burn cycle and then shut off the diesel. (We wanted to be sure we would wake in the morning!)
Today, we got our heads inside the ah bin. Our floor plan has the refridge right above the ah bin. There are a bunch of wires running from the bin up into the refridge compartment. After further inspection, it seems that the sealant around all those wires was missing! So off to Home Depot we go and resealed those openings! I just ran two cycles on diesel and no smell at all!
Just something we found and other folks might want to add to their check list!
Glad you figured that out quickly. Did you have something done lately in that compartment or was it always like that?
Why is the AH compartment full of exhaust fumes?
I had that a while ago and it was around the shower drain. It was not sealed at all and it let in fumes. Now it is sealed and no more smell.
Yes we had work done on the AH, not sure if the caused it or not. The fumes in the bin are very faint. I will check the shower drain as well! Thanks for that heads up!

You will need to do it with a mirror and or by feel. Mine was totally open just the pipe coming down.
