Greeting from Sunny Florida,
I would like to know if any of you great Foretravel folks are going to the FMCA RALLY Feb 6-10 in Brooksville, Fl. We went to the Tampa RV Show yesterday and Foretravel had a great display. They had a IH-45, PHENIX and NIMBUS Great Show.
Cheers Karl
We're going to be at the Brooksville Rally. Will get there as early as possible and stay as late as possible. Going to be in the all-time generator area though we will be on our solar system and only need the generator in case it gets cold.

Thanks for the kick in the head with the notice!
A friend of mine from High School years, nearly got himself killed on his Harley in Brooksville 2 weeks ago T boning a car..., so this very well might be.... my 'can't avoid it anymore...reason' to stop what I'm doing and just chill out/// do both the rally and 'friend visit'.!!
Should I take my 24 class C or bring down the 40 FT? Space availbable??
(I'm not far away, now situated in Live Oak, Fl. just SW of I-10 and I-75

Bring your coach my friend but contact Ed Pan at the contact info listed above in his post.
unfortunately Jane and I have had to cancel the FT and FMCA rallies due to a medical problem that Jane is having, Back to the house and doctors that we can deal with.
Gary B
Gary, So sorry to hear about Jane's med prob.! We certainly hope that things can be ironed out and treated expediently. You will be missed. Jane will be in our prayers for sure. ED.
After getting my 'act' together, tanks filled, tanks dumped, systems ready for the road, I felt Ok to call Pat and Evon Brewer(as I assume they are the coordinators, but get no answer on their phone.
I would like to drive into Brooksville Foretravel on Monday ////continue on in the "Caravan" to the next rally and leave the FMCA rally a day or so later, doing a bit of each. Possible? Yay or nay?
ron
Here's the info for the FMCA rally, including the rally fees (you must be an FMCA member) Southeast Area Rally (http://www.fmca.com/chapters/area-rallies/329)
Hopefully Ed can chime in on the Motorcade Club pre-rally.
Hi Ron- You are certainly welcome to come to the FT pre-rally! Here is the address:
"Sandhill Scout Reservation"
11210 Cortez Blvd.
Brookesville,Fl. 34613
As you probably noted from the post from Michelle, the FMCA pre-reg. time period is now closed. However, you can caravan with us to the rally site and still register when you get there. It is possible that the parking guys may want you to first pull-in to the holding area to register. But surely- come to the pre-rally and this can be ironed out with Pat Brewer, who has a lot of experience with this particular pre-rally and rally itself. Looking forward to seeing you guys! Ed Pan
Ed and all,
Thanks for opening up the welcome mat.
As you know, I arrived Sunday a few minutes before going out with ya'll, for a spectacular coastal(fried)seafood dinner with all of you. Met the group and had a really nice time. Same was true for all of the visit.
Next day, during some organized technical chat-- prior to a tasty chicken dinner--some things were mentioned by others present, that I thought was worthy of mention. I said I would post this info on the forum so here goes.
Cabinet Struts(apparently all interior struts are 9"). Need some? Check out Stampede Distribution (http://www.stampededist.com) $8. each (866-226-7855)
Interior Cabinet Hinge parts: MFGR seems to be:
Blum #33 hinges with 110 degree of movement. Compact 33 -110ยบ Hinges By Blum | Shop & Save at CabinetParts.com (http://www.cabinetparts.com/g/compact-33-110-hinges-blum?gclid=CJrTxbnuorUCFQcHnQodYBUAdQ) 800-438-6788 386-586-3650 Seems that some small internal plastic part does break within one part of these hinges and you can buy that from the company. Nice info i thought.
(hope I got this right)
Key Fobs? IF you have a problem and want to replace one of your KEY FOBS, try
Keyless Entry Remotes, Car Remote Replacements, Key Fobs, Keys, &more! (http://www.remotesandkeys.com/?gclid=CNel3r_vorUCFQY5nAod_E4A5w) then on the left side of this page enter your FCC code found on your existing FOB.
Lastly, IF....your Flexsteel seat needs a rebuild, try WADE RV, who works thru LAZYDAYS, in Sefner, Fl.
Lastly, was a comment by a few, that Kubota 4 cyl. engines were better/smoother than Isuzu's 3 cyl. common sense maybe but also worth mentioning.
Back now in my shop, having fun! stay well, keep smiling.
Howdy Memoryroads,
Thanks for all the useful links!!! I've got'em all bookmarked for future use..

Memory Roads: Was there a brand name for the remotes, I have one that only works part time. Tks DAN
Dan, This was an informal chit-chat going on and as always, it was an issue with "side conversatations going on" limiting my brains ability to capture all. if there was more info, I guess I missed it. The only thing I heard that I thought significant was once into the site suggested, to use the FCC code to find your FOB.
Hopefully one of the members present at this gathering will step up with more or better info...or just someone who knows more!!
The group is probably still at the FMCA rally in Brooksville, Florida... so maybe afterwards one of those present at the tech-talk will step up with an answer to your question.
Memory Roads: Called the remote place and they could not locate a remote with just the FCC nr. Kept coming up Honda. They indicated I need to call Foretravel and get the brand and model nr. They need both to see if they have a match. Tks DAN
Dan, I'm sorry if i led you on a wild goose chase. The member at the early rally said the numbers in that online site could be found by using the FCC #. I believe he also said FOT did not have them in stock. Price through the online site was $12. each.
Hopefully, some other member present at the pre-dinner tech chat can fill us in here. Most of them went to the FMCA rally at the Brooksville Fl. Airport, so might not be watching this forum right now.
Thanks MemoryRoads... good info.... Stay Well
