Saw these today and got pretty excited. Being DOT compliant the 4" X 6" rectangular could be a great upgrade for Unihomes. Cheaper upgrade for Unicoaches but the need to raise the lamp location is still the primary problem. Pricing is about 235.00 ea.

Have fun dreamin'!
Nice! I replaced the headlights in our SOB coach with new assemblies that were simply replacement parts. The shiny new lamps appeared to produce better light simply because everything was new, clear, and bright. They were in the same low position as the lights on our U295. The LED lamps would probably be a good improvement even down in the "too low" position.
It appears that our FT uses the same Ford truck lamps as did the SOB. The outer lamps have the turn signal integrated with the assembly. That might make installation of the LED lamp more difficult than a simple drop in replacement.
My understanding is that four of the LED lamps at $235 would be around 40% of the price of the "headlamp upgrade" at FOT or Xtreme. Are those figures any close? (Headlights will be well below new flooring on Mama's priority list! :D )
Yup. I believe the Ford lights though are significantly larger than 4 X
6. This means you could Dremel or hot knife the plastic front and very
likely surface mount the assembly - its likely the old reflector bucket would be plenty deep enough - of not, it could be cut away also. Since the original 'frame' retains the adjust-ability this could be really simple. Total depth of the bucket on the LED is 3.5 inches. A surface mount removes nearly an inch.
This might be a really nice upgrade with minimal effort. I found when I mounted HID lights in approximately the same location as the original headlights that the shadows cast by small items on road were really distracting due to low mounting. Had to raise them to cure it. The HID's are extremely intense, though, these LED lights might be a good balance between the original birthday candles and the armadillo burner HIDs.

Thanks Dave,
These beams look like a great improvement to the old weak headlights. I will bookmark this for a possible future upgrade
