Title: Saw an 89 Foretravel for sale on Craigslist

I noticed this on the local craigslist if anyone is interested.

Doesn't say which model it is. Somehow I suspect the 32,000 GVWR isn't quite correct. If I remember what I think I've been told, this is more likely a U240 or U270 rather than a U280 or U300 (what we're actually interested in).

I also wonder about the wall being replaced. What does that mean?

It's an Oshkosh 300 cat.  Good coach for that kind of money.  26,500gwv?

Foretravel rated my '89 36' GV at GVWR=20,500#

Oshkosh Truck plate states total combined weight not to exceed 22,500#

So, 26,500# most likely correct.

That is a lot of motor home for $15,000!!!  Apparently no engine access through the bedroom. Did these have side radiators?

Yes bed should lift up. The 300hp had a side radiator.
