I have several fitting that are leaking on my 29'er and I have not been able to locate these conversion fitting. I looked up "SharkBite 1/2 in. Brass PTC Polybutylene Conversion Coupling" and found that Home Depot stocks them, but not in any CA store closed to me.
What have you all use when you could not get these? I tried a 1/2 in. x 1/2 in.x 1/2 in CPVC Compression Tee it worked, but I know it's not right and ready to leak at a Moment.
If I cannot get the shark bite fittings that I need locally I buy them on line. Have to wait a bit but the selection is endless. Another fitting that is good for small stuff is a John Guest fitting, also available on line.

I have used several SharkBite fittings on my plumbing and they are terrific!!!! Easy to use, clean and neat as well. They work on 1/2" quest, copper or PVC(UV resistant type) pipe----they do not work on 1/2" standard pvc pipe. I get my fittings at Home Depot in Texas.....little expensive but worth every penny! I really don't understand how they work but I have never had a leak using them. Plus you can disassemble them easily!!! I recently used them when replacing the 3 drain valves on my coach.
Real similar to the HD Sharkbite fittings are GATORBITE sold at Lowes and some stores also carry WATTS push on fittings, some are plastic and some are brass, work equally well.

My local Lowe's carries them as well. There are quite a few mobile homes in this area that are of course poly lines so it makes sense for them to keep the conversion fitting to PEX...
