Post by: Gary Bouland (RIP) on February 19, 2013, 03:38:51 pm
Thanks, Jerry and Michelle.

Yep -- every weekend I do a bit more, learn yet another thing through discovery (like my floor safe that has never been used - but I've not the combination, so have to put that on the list

Michael

Michael, Call FOT and request the safe combination, They will ask you to supply them by mail or fax proof of ownership and  VIN.

Try 1,2,3,4,5,6, ; might work if it has never been changed.

Check you coach build sheet in your book. ( If it was with the coach on your purchase)  It will have the safe serial number and combination.  The factory didn't have any information on the safe in my coach when I called them.  The numbers in my book had whiteout covering the numbers but I was able to use a bright light behind the paper to make out the numbers.  Still couldn't get it open.  Along comes Foretravel owner Michael and opens the safe in a flash. Thanks Michael.  I still can't get it open on the first try.

Have hear of the numbers being written on the underside bottom of the drawer in the dash of older units.

Dave, I think I am the one that put those numbers there but I got them from the factory in the first place.

I wrote mine on the back of the lift out panel in front of passenger so I never loose it. Mind you all we keep in it is Ruth's chocolate bars etc as it is always cool there !!!
I had problems the first time using code as I did not realise that the first turn to # may not be a full rotation but is classed as one.
