I don't know what this led signifies. I am hoping that someone has something similar on theirs. I have added a couple of photos a close up and one that shows the location near the switches in the bedroom, just under the TV mounting trim. I would like to ask what the light is showing me. I have had the FT for probably 3 years and really do not understand what the function is supposed to be.

A/V system IR repeater eye? Ours lights when actively receiving signals (or noise from bad fluorescent ballasts).

Ours ran from bedroom to vcr/dvd player above driver...was told it would relay signal from remote to player/recorder. Vcr/dvd had a IR plug stuck on pick-up.
