I searched previous posts on this topic and thought I found the answer when I saw "Dumb light bulb question" for a topic, but it was not to be. Anyway, the bulb in this light is out and I need to change it. How do I get it out? Thanks in advance. See pic below.

It's held in place with a "twist" type of socket. Locate the wires that go to that light bulb, grab ahold of the piece that holds the bulb in and twist it about a 1/4 turn. Should come right out.

You turn the socket counter clockwise
Could you repeat that please,is it a lamp or a light bulb, do you turn it CW or CCW :)) :)) :)) :))
Just took it out. The back of the bulb (i.e., the "socket" that holds the bulb into the light fixture) turns CCW. Once out, the bulb pulls straight out. Thanks for the help.

P.S. Where did all the harmless banter go?
It looks like it got split out and moved to a new topic in Fire Ring How many forum members does it take to change a light bulb? (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=17326.0)
