Title: a/c current draw

uh oh...house a/c not cooling...Sunday....my question is can i run one a/c unit in my coach off a heavy cord from a 110 outlet approx 50 ft away..i am not well versed in current draws ect....i don't want to cause any harm...thanks

Yes you can, however you will need at minimum a 12 gauge wire, 10 ga would be better, also you will need a 20 amp out let to plug into.
These a/c units daw close to 15-16 amps running load X  3 for starting.

Use your generator, if you do not have a 20 amp outlet min.
