Does anyone know what the sealant they use on the penetrations.
On our coach, small penetrations were sealed with what looks like white polyurethane caulking. The main wire loom penetration that comes up behind the drivers side dash is sealed with expanded foam, hopefully fireblock rated. You can see it behind where the generator compartment release is located. I ran conduit up through there and sealed the area with some fireblock foam.

Thanks Don. ^.^d
Has anyone else used the clear polycarbonate stuff called Through the Roof? I am pretty much sold on it...
Interesting name and material, a link would be useful though :D

Try this Through the Roof!® - Clear Roof Sealant (http://www.sashco.com/hi/through-the-roof.html)
I am curious about classing "Through the Roof" as being Polycarbonate. This is a new one to me, a non-solid polycarbonate. If it is PC it should be very good at chemical resistance etc. I may have missed it but I couldn't find anything in the literature that indicated what polymer/s make up this product. Don't misunderstand, we appreciate your contribution and sharing any good products you find but inquiring minds want to know. What makes you think it is Polycarbonate???
If it is not "Polycarbonate" I looks similar to clear GeoCel and Lexel sealant/caulk both of which I have used and prefer to clear Silicone. These would be good products to keep on board as flexible adhesive and sealant.
My bad, it's a rubber copolymer and not compatible with a rubber membrance roof. I think I was recalling another clear seal I used on chimney flashing at our old house. In any case, I can vouch for this through the roof stuff as being able to seal off a leak while being applied to a wet surface during a rainstorm. It does take quite some time to cure, much better to do the job when it's warm and dry but we don't always have that option. Since it stays nice and flexible, it's perfect for, say, ladder mounts. My old SOB rv gave me way, way too much experience in these matters...
