Phil Bostrom and I bought our Knoedler air ride chairs directly from them in Cerritos CA. Mike is very good to work with. He made some custom changes that we wanted.
I have the Knoedler air ride too and you are correct they will sell to you.
Barry,
Can you give me Knoedler's info? I live in long beach, so I am right down the street. Do you know anybody who can redo the dashboard out here? It would be almost impossible for me to get down to texas.
Here is the info on Villa International and Knoedler Chairs
Villa buys the frames from Knoedler and they custom finish them.
I had them add some material to the headrest so my head can touch the headrest when I am driving.
Normally the headrest is to far back to be of any use.
They also added some custom skirts with pockets where I needed them.
2 Tone Ultra Leather.
Mine came with massager, cooling fans in the back and seat, 3 adjustable lumbar supports to get the perfect fit, heater and adjustable air ride that cannot be beat. Best improvement I have made for all the driving I do. When you hit a bump the coach goes up and down but you don't.

Barry,
You, Phil, and John all have the Knoedler in a bus-style FT...
Would the seats in a late-80's GV-style like Rob is looking at be the same model?
-M
I can't see why not. The mounting holes may be a little different on the base. I added the seat belts which prevented using a swivel base.
what about the dash? do you have to go to Texas to have it retrofitted or is there company out here that can do it.
Some have used "Dashboard Covers by Josie" Dashboard Covers by Josie - Specializing in Dashboard Covers for Motorhomes! (http://www.coversbyjosie.com/index.html)
Dash Mat Cover? (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=14842.msg87814#msg87814)
I had my dash upholstered locally. I had to remove and re-install it. That was no fun, especially the seperate hump part over the dash.
