Title: Tip for removing decal glue residue
Post by: Chuck Pearson on April 17, 2013, 10:25:34 am
I've been de-stickering my coach bit by bit and would like to offer a tip for removing glue.  I tried pretty much everything, spray on glue removal products, acetone, gasoline, lacquer thinner, goo gone, green stuff, expensive 3M glue removal juice,  all of it kind of worked, but not well.  Finally, I grabbed my Mostlebacker's graffitti lift off, SPRAY PAINT GRAFFITI REMOVER :: Mötsenböcker's LIFT OFF ® (http://www.liftoffinc.com/product-graffiti-remover.php) actually read the directions (give it a couple minutes to work) and found it is far and away the best, fastest, cleanest and least obnoxious product.  Spray it on your glue, give a couple minutes to work, agitate the glue a bit with a plastic scraper or razor blade, wipe off.  Heavy areas will require a second treatment.  Residue is no longer sticky (unlike the other products) and wipes off easily.

Hope this helps anyone else involved in removing this obnoxious snot.
