Title: Delo oil Costco sale
Post by: Barry & Cindy on April 19, 2013, 12:13:18 am
Costco has a Delo oil coupon good to May 5.  $7 off box of three 1-gallon containers.  We have found that Walmart, Sam's Club and Costco normally have about the same prices, but the $7 put Costco temporarily cheaper by a couple of dollars a gallon.

How much are the 3 gallon cases before the coupon?
If I go into Costco to find out it will cost me $400!

Anyone can walk into Costco, just can't buy without a membership card ($55/yr). Without a card, tell them your spouse is already in the store or don't tell them anything and just walk in.

I don't know Costco Delo cost as we had already used our Delo that we purchased somewhere else.

I work parttime at Costco in Plano at Park and the Tollway. Best thing to do is just go to the membership desk and tell them you would like to consider a membership and they will let you walk around the store and explain the membership plans to you. No big deal to get in and look around.

The Delo coupon is effective from 4/11 to 5/5 and is $7 off 3/1 gallon with a limit of 5. You do have to be a member to make a purchase. Come see me or visit your nearest Costco......it's a great company and keeps you active!

I bought my Delo 100 for $12.50 per gallon from O'Riellys last fall. It is listed on their web site at $12.99 now.

I was not clear. I have been a Costco Executive member for years. I have all my insurance through Costco (Ameriprise) even the Foretravel (GREAT RATE by the way).
My attempt at humor was meant to state that If I walk into Costco to check the price of oil It will cost me $400 because of all the stuff I buy when I walk in there!
Love the place!

Not into the Delo Oil thing, if you can not get away from the Delo thing, I just read on another board that IF the Delo 400 can/jug says MTU 2, 40wt, your good to go, might be worth a look.  MTU is the new DDC since Daimler purchased the old DDC.

Lon, if you spend $400 on other stuff while getting the discounted Delo, you will get 2% back on the $400. This will effectively give you an additional $8 off of the cost of the Delo, since that is the originally intended purchase item. This will lower the cost of it enough to make it a real "bargain". At least that is how I explain it to my wife when I need some new tool, toy or whatever. It's worked for years.

I bought 2 cases this week from them.
I use to go to Taylor oil - a distributor of bulk lubricants and was paying 16 bucks a gallon.

I agree, Costco costs a lot more than what I walked in for.

For you 2 cycle guys, the Mil Spec #2104D is the latest for the DDC/MTU 2 stroke babes, of course 40 wt for the normal, but assure you if your running the 8V-92 at 450 hp or more, you want the 50 wt oil.
