Title: circuit breaker/fuse for LP and CO detectors
Post by: Steve & Ginny Hill on April 19, 2013, 12:07:45 pm
was replacing the LP detector located near the floor in the aisle of the bathroom. wires accidentally arced together. now no power to LP or CO detector(located on aisle side of upper china cabinet, opposite fridge). none of the 12v fuses at the foot of the bed are blown. according to schematic, power comes from a 10a circuit breaker, but don't they auto reset? are there some other 12v fuses hidden somewhere?

Yes, should be auto resetting.  I don't know how long it takes for them to reset but I would think only a few minutes.  Fuse should be located in basement under white fiberglass panel.
I just posted about basement lights (storage lights (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=17736.msg119486;topicseen#new)) and see that both are in the same location.

Thanks, John. It was right there where you said it would be. It is a circuit breaker, but it is a manual reset. I sent you some Karma.
