Title: Wineguard FlatWave Amped Antenna
Post by: Michael j on April 20, 2013, 09:53:35 am
Has anyone tried one of these FlatWave antenna from Wineguard?
FlatWave Amped Indoor HDTV Antenna for .99 (http://www.winegard.com/get-free-tv/hdtv-antenna/flatwave-amped/)
If so, what were your results? I would like an antenna, but not on the roof. There will be solar panels up there.

Last summer at a COE campground about 30-35 miles away from any television stations (east of Pasco, WA) I dangled a 12" wire from the antenna input of our LED HDTV and got all the stations I wanted. So I bought a cheap "indoor HDTV" antenna and the next time I got 3 more stations. Our S&B home is out of range of any OTA television so it was a new experience for us. I am removing the Wineguard crank-up antenna to make room for solar panels.
