There is so much great info from many who have actual experience in the area in question, sprinkled with many added opinions.
Mods that worked out well etc.
I get enjoyment from many humorous postings too.
Many thanks
Dave M
I have to agree with you Dave. This is the only forum I have ever been on, (yes I lead a sheltered life), and if I can figure out how to add the smiley's I will be even happier. :D
OK, that didn't work, how do you add the smiley's. I haven't been able to find the answer in the how to sections. Thanks in advance. Now you know why I am going as ohsonew.
When you select "Reply", the smileys should show up at the top of the reply "box". Just select each smiley you desire. If you select "Quote" the smileys do not show up. I am assuming you are using a web browser on your PC.
b^.^d  :sleepy: :snap: :headwall:
I see them at the top, I tried to drag and drop and my post from 2 times ago is the result. Do you click on them? :D :D Danger Will Robinson, It worked b^.^d b^.^d .
Once again my eternal thanks and appreciation. You guys are the best in helping the elderly :P
Try typing a colon and then a right parenthesis :)
Craig
That's cuz us younger guys appreciate the oldsters. (I'm only 70!) :P
Craig
Hit Preview after Reply and the smileys show up. ???
Carol and I have discussed many times that without the Foreforums we would most defiantly not be full timing and probably would not own a coach... You all make the miles much easier. Just knowing if we are stuck somewhere a quick note on the forum and within a short period of time we have an answer to any problem we may have.
The great friendships are "icing on the cake".
Thanks to all
Those are strong words and sentiments Jeffey, but I have to agree with you. I suspect the frustrations caused by ignorance of the many complicated systems on a first class motorhome would have caused us to spend our retirement differently as well.
And I have to agree with Larry, I too have joined other forums but never participated to any great degree. THIS IS THE BEST and easy to use. All participants and guys like Barry deserve a great big thanks but one can't deny that Steve making it so easy to use and Michelle's super baby sitting make this the best forum around.
I agree...there's no comparison when it comes to civility & comradery at the Foreforums. In fact, when last I traveled to Nac. I met the most wonderful Foretravel owners and the folks that make up the Foretravel business community. During my last visit, which was the first visit to Nac. since the Foreforums was created, meeting the Fofums was the highlight of my trip thanks to these wonderful folks such as, Dave M, Phil Knudsen, Dick & Rockey S., Don & Trudy Hay and the host with the most...Nacogdoches Foretravel ambassador, Mike Harbordt and his lovely wife Jackie.
Without these fine folks, the Foretravel experience would be somewhat if not a lot less. I wish more Foretravel owners would participate in our blessings. I can't express here how gratified I was that Bill Chaplin made a special stop in Nac all the way from the Dallas Metroplex during my visit to go to dinner and have a meet & greet. I will never forget that visit just nearly one year ago.
As a new first-time owner, I have to agree with all of this. One of the filters that I used to narrow down our choices was an active and knowledgeable owners' forum. I wanted to be part of a group of involved owners, people who do some of their own work, and really know their coaches. Along with that, of course, was that those knowledgeable owners were willing to share their knowledge with others. Foretravel owners are such people.
Thanks to all of you who so generously share your knowledge with the rest of us, and thanks to all of those people who keep this forum functioning so smoothly.
Like Groucho I would not join any club that would have me as a member - one has to keep one's standards!
There are two exceptions to this and one of them is this great forum.
I started reading this in order to research Foretravels. Purchased one and we are planning on full timing as soon as we are free of commitments.
Thank you Michelle & Steve, Barry Beam and all the rest. You guys are the best.
Keith
I agree wholeheartedly with all of the above sentiments. I am a member of three other RV forums as well as a number of other types of forums. This is by far the freindliest, most helpful of any of them. And I think a great deal of credit should go to our mods for the success of the forum.
Thanks to everyone for all of the help for my technically challenged self. :help: As you can see, this old dog can learn new tricks.
I agree with the aforementioned members, that cheers for all of the moderators can't express how much I appreciate them.
Hope to meet all somewhere down the road.
I'll share the love too! I love you Foreforums! ♡ ♡ ♡ I would have pushed Big Agnes off a cliff by now if it weren't for you guys!
see ya
ken
Are you saying because we would not help you push it ??? :P :))
Ken still might push it off the cliff unless he gets professional help on his hydraulic issues.
Dave M
@Dave by professional help you mean a psychiatrist right? :)
see ya
ken
Had not given that area a thought, but felt sad for you and all the issues you seem to be having with the hydraulics, seems to be a non stop problem area for you.
Good luck
Dave M
