Post by: Ian Ramsay on May 20, 2013, 07:41:58 am
My Grandvilla is about to be unloaded in Brisbane Australia after a very long trip. I would love to buy a model of it or something that is close. Can anybody help with information.

Wow. I bet there are just not very many Foretravels in Australia. They may be harder to find there than diecast models of them on the internet!
I did find a couple links that might at least get you started though..
Monaco Endeaver Motorhome Diecast Model RV Camper Toy, Film Production Rental. (http://rvup.com/motorhomediecastminiaturervcampertoygift/id103.htm) (wrong make, sorry)
Toy Motorhome (http://northwoodsoutlet.net/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=2047) (no diecast)
Monaco Coach Endeavor by Holiday Rambler Diecast Metal Motor Home RV 1 64 | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Monaco-Coach-ENDEAVOR-by-HOLIDAY-RAMBLER-Diecast-Metal-Motor-Home-RV-1-64-/310662773641?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item4854f1bb89) --Ebay, wrong make, 150 bucks!!

Then there's what used to be a far out idea.. go to someplace -link deleted by moderator- and get a 3d print mdel made of your GV. i don't know much about procedures or prices but both are getting easier by the day.

Yeah, I've tried to convince my wife that I was actually trying to look for RV's but bad pictures popped up instead.

Thanks and sorry bout that. But I think I wiill go look more into this 3d priniting thing. If the costs aren't too bad I think it'd be pretty cool to have a model of our rig..

Thanks everyone, it looks like i may have to do without an RV model in my case full of coaches. Re Foretravels in Australia, I have seen four in the last month on the east coast and another four or five for sale on the net. They are catching on fast. I am thinking of getting their details so we can have an Aussie get together.
