WARM-WHITE 6-LED ASSEMBLY, 12V AC OR DC | AllElectronics.com (http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a-store/item/LED-606WW/WARM-WHITE-6-LED-ASSEMBLY-12V-AC-OR-DC/1.html#)
At All Electronics - $7.00 each
"warm white", but not quite as warm as the incandescent bulbs.
But we have 27 of the blasted things = $189! Shipping is reasonable however at $7.00.
We do not do enough dry camping to warrant the investment.
I bought the straight 12 volt version, 10 for $16. Seem to work fine.
With the size of those CAPs on the back the reflectors would need to come out...
Yup! I have tried three of them (another brand) in our coach. It's easy to pop the reflector. I've been pleased and will probably add more. They are WAY cooler than the incandescents. I had to replace one of the gold bezels because it overheated from the halogen bulb. That's not a problem with the LEDs.
I think I paid about $13 each for the ones I bought. Prices continue to come down.
We ordered a roll each of white and warm white from one of the Chinese importers, for about $25 or so. No tracking numbers, no guarantees, but we can afford the loss if nothing shows up. Expected delivery date is 2-4 weeks from order date, so we'll see what happens.
I have ordered LED's from China on 4 different occasions - got them all, all work, SUPER CHEAP!!!!
David,
Have ordered from China over 50 times from several different suppliers without a problem. Once they sent the wrong item but said to keep it and got the correct one to me quickly.
A week to two weeks if on the west coast, slightly longer to rest U.S.

Which fixture (puck, lamp?) are you putting these in?
OH
Puck lights under cabinets replacing halogen
FWIW,
I too got mine from China (through ebay) to replace all of the puck lights with leds and have had good luck. Not sure why but did loose one. I did this probably about a year ago. Overall, happy with the change and certainly are a lot cheaper that way (even if you have to replace one or two). There are probably a thousand listings with various configurations of led's for those lights. The ones that are comparable to what Duane has shown are available and do work well in my puck lights.
We have replaced some of our puck lights and several of the fluorescent with LEDs. Very happy with the result.
But I can't find a good replacement for the incandescents in the lamps (1076 double contact). I did buy a couple (21 LED array) of LED replacments, but they are not bright enough. The 1076 is rated at about 400 lumens, while most LED replacements are at about 250. Does anyone know of a brighter LED replacement for the 1076?
Thanks in advance.
Here are the LED's that I installed - buy 30 (they come in sets of 10, so order quantity 3 if you want 30)

bought from DHgate in China - part number 140979759
12 volt constant voltage only only, real cheap ($3.06 each, free shipping. Sorry I thought I bought them under $2.00 each, but I was mistaken) and work fine so far -
prongs are a slight bit too long, I just used the way they came and they fit in puck lights, but you could probably trim the prongs a bit to get perfectly centered in the puck light.
Hi Tim,
Do you happen to have any photos of what the light they put off looks like. Are they really warm white? I like the warmth of the Halogen but not the heat.
Thanks!
George, try Marine Beam for those.
Richard B.
Not sure the color is that much different, have three of the old halogens next to three of the new, seem about the same. Tried taking picture, but doesn't really show well.
Buy 10, see what you think. Look for sales, I did buy 10 for 16.59 shipping included, now I see the same ones at the same place are $3.06. Or splurge and go for 30, don't think you will be disappointed.
Maybe look at these,

The two rolls of Chinese LEDs arrived today. The roll sure looks a LOT smaller than in the picture! Each roll has bare wires sticking out the ends, so I wonder what would happen if I would connect 12vdc to them. Looks like I have some coach work to do this week.
David, If you connect 12V to those wires the whole roll will light up. Watch that you hook + to right wire, and = to the other, roll is marked.
Gary B
If you connect 12V to the the roll you stand the chance of burning out the LED's due to excess heat. Had a warning on one of the rolls I bought. Also do not reverse the polarity when you hook them up to 12V it results in immediate disaster....Don't ask me how I know that.
Roland
I'm not really going to hook the roll up, although I might stretch it out and then hook it up. We ordered one roll each of "white" and "warm white" so it would be interesting to see what sort of color difference there is, as well as how bright they are.
David,
Not sure if you have seen it but here is my post from Oct, 2011: LED Interior Lights Conversion (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=13741.msg77279#msg77279)
I snipped off an inch or so to experiment with. You sure do need a good set of reading glasses to see the positive and negative markings. I was down in the compartments today planning to move the compartment door light switch over to one side and put in a long row of LEDs. Will use the waterproof variety. They are sure fun to install and figure the possibilities.
I have 1120 watts on the roof now and will be heating the system up in a week or so. Solar and LEDs go well together and make dry camping a lot nicer.
Luck on your project.

George, I did not find info on 'lumens' but did buy these for my coach and am 'Very' satisfied with them. ron

I started on the project today, but didn't get very far before supper called. Just to be sure - the blue wire is the + and the white is - right?
Only a multimeter knows for sure

Thanks Duane! ^.^d Just bought six to replace the halogen g4s above sink/cooking area and dining area as they are the most used lights. VERY FAST delivery. I agree not quite as warm as the old G4s and are slightly brighter. DW was excited with the upgrade.
We ordered four of these and we finally got them yesterday. All four worked when I first tried them, but in fooling around with them in an attempt to get a picture of them relative to the "standard" LED replacement bulb for the 1076 incandescent bulb, one quit working. So no pic. But they do seem a lot brighter than the standard replacement LED bulb. And you cannot beat the price ($5.99 including shipping). The bulbs have a 14 day warranty, so I will try to get another one. But even if they won't replace the bad bulb, they are so cheap (relatively speaking!) that I'm not going to worry about it.
George
Looks like you got them off ebay George, just email the seller and usually they will send a replacement. I have bought off ebay also and generally they (seller) are eager to maintain a good seller rating and have replaced my duds (bad bulbs). I unfortunately have had some go bad after a while and glad they are cheap as I did not loose too much as too late for replacements.
Just got a response. They will replace the bad bulb. Time will tell if they last. Ordered 4 more.
Update: The three of the four continue to work fine, but they seem to be "off gassing" something..... smell hot, but aren't. Hopefully this will end, but it hasn't yest after about 12 hours of use.
Further update: DO NOT BUY THESE BULBS! See tread on "These LEDS could be dangerous"
