Driving from Elizabethton, TN to Campbellsville, KY we'd just gone past Tennessee RV on I-40 when our right rear valve decided that 17 years was just too much. Managed to get off the road to a Cracker Barrell by holding the on and the right side raise buttons on the HWH keypad and managing to steer and listen to the DW tell me what I was doing wrong with my driving. Called FOT and got James and Mark's voice mail so left messages then decided to call James back and he answered! He had me raise the coach up with the manual raise button then shut it off and remove the ride level fuse in the HWH computer. Said I could drive across the country that way but got back 14 miles to Ten. RV who took us in while I was still filling out the paper work. Took a couple of hours to locate another valve since they've been changed and the install. An arm and leg later we were back on the road. DW thinks we paid too much but @ $115.00 an hour and getting us in right away and back on the road just before they closed for the holiday weekend...I'll take her complaining
Larry, Are you referring to the RIDE HEIGHT Valves ? One on each side in the rear and one in the front center.

Larry, I had two ride height control valves begin to have a problem, replaced.
For what it is worth, I believe the symptom was a shortened cycle time of my air compressor (engine). About 60 seconds versus my normal 4 minutes. Wondering why, I took the coach in for inspection.
At the same time though I was having an air leak in a step cylinder so I am not sure which was the primary culprit here.
(I am a bit obsessed I think watching these gauges, but being new to this it seems the thing to do!.....Wish I had the Dave M monitoring system set up, then I could really watch some interesting things.)
Yes, it was the ride height valve. Mechanic raised the front a bit since he thought it was low. I was happy where it was and we shall see if 'm happy where it is now.
Larry, that's good news that your valves are working better. The phrase, "he thought it was low," doesn't inspire confidence that the height was set according to specifications. When I lift the dash I find a note taped to the underside on passenger side. It gives data for front end alignment and ride height
