Title: Lost power to the coach
Post by: Larry S on July 04, 2013, 10:40:22 am
I will short circuit the frustration and pain we went through.
After the process of elimination we found the culprit. Trouble shooting the transfer switch which we thought to be the source even though the generator side worked fine, the problem turned out to be the #%+*=_>|€~! electric shoreline reel.
Remove it, new junction box, have to actually pick up the cord and stuff it back in bay? All is well DW and dog are happy in temps dancing around 100 degrees every day!
Will make the 4th celebration food taste a lot better too.

Larry, I don't know if you have the same reel but here is a repair that might work. http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/26336645.cfm (http://www.rv.net/forum/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/26336645.cfm)
