Looking at my old Foretravel stuff I came across an internal "engineering change notice" from 10/26/93.
It shows the internal designations used by Foretravel to identify the engines.
The only one I saw 1 of was the e19. Original unicoach demo with a Foretravel made natural convection hot water and coach heating plant.
Detroit series 60 electronic/430 hp HD 4060R.
The one I drove had been re chipped by Foretravel. Zero to 60 in 18 seconds.
Anyone seen this coach? I sold it to Charlie Hobbs who had a fleet of newspaper delivery trucks. Unlimited speed up any hill.
Also show an e18 350 hp 3176 cat. They had the internal ability to reprogram them also.

Bob, I believe that the family sold that coach to some one in Dana Point several years ago. I was told that it would out run and out pull anything but, was a little light on the front end at high speed. It still may be in Ca. some where. Gary O
Delighted to see there had been some enthusiasm in the engine department.
Love the 0-60 in 18 sec , sounds about right without the toad, need to see how it goes.
Hobbs family sold it. Darn. I can see dana point from my back yard.
Yes was light at a hundred. Engine was too heavy. Car fast. Charlie said he went that fast up the cajon pass. Ear to ear grin telling me. Nothing like an old trucker with the fastest Rv around

Primus Heating
Now thats a FORETRAVEL, bet they could build and sell them today. I always have liked these graphics but I am prejudiced as that is what my 95 GV has.
Gary B
That's the one. Could not remember the primus part but it worked well. Propane powered burner in the back. The aqua hot is an easier installation as it is hideable in the cabinets
Should of made a deal with Charlie to let me use it once in a while.
Needed a tag I guess for payload capacity.
Thanks to whoever at Foretravel is helping out with info..
