Title: Cozy III
Post by: Duane Budd on July 10, 2013, 03:59:38 pm
I just installed a AquaHot Cozy III heat exchanger in the front living area of my coach. The old exchanger was making a rattling noise like the bearings in the fan were bad.

The old heat exchanger is much larger than the Cozy III. I am wondering about the coils in the new unit. Is it capable of putting out the same amount of heat as the older, larger exchanger? Anyone have experience with this? Do I need to get a new fan and re-install the older exchanger to have adequate heat?

The 10" width 61/8" depth 4" unit is 4000 BTU's . The 13 1/8" width 3 5/8' depth 6.5" depth unit is 8,000 BTU's .Gam

That is good for the two Cozy model sizes, but does not answer my question about the large heat exchanger I removed and replaced with the 4200 BTU Cozy model.

Dang! I replaced the large exchanger with the 8200 BTU Cozy, not the 4000 BTU small Cozy.

Sorry about that!
