My service guy is asking where the adjustment is for the hwh panels auto level function in my 97 320?
Thanks bob
Is it in centre main basement compartment screwed to top in an aluminum sq box??

Isn't that the brain? Is the actual sensor in there?
Bob
In my 1996, the level sensor was located on the coach floor under a drawer in the kitchen.
But I'm not sure what you mean by "panel". The level sensor looks kind of like a turtle. It has mercury in it.
In later years the level sensor is located in the HWH box.
On our 1997 U295 CAI, the mercury (?) switch is screwed to the floor under the kitchen counters. I have accessed it by removing the U-Line ice maker, which it to the right of the kitchen sink on the driver side of our coach. If there were drawers instead of the ice maker, it would be accessible by removing the bottom drawer.
There are three mounting screws with square drive slots in the heads. Adjustments are made by turning the screws a SMALL amount. I adjusted ours by leveling the coach with bubble levels, then tweaking the three screws by "bracketing" the current level position. I would turn the screw to light an "out of level amber light" in one direction, then the other. I would leave the screw midway between the "light on" positions. I did that for side to side, and fore to aft. The screws interact! I tried to find the best combination of settings.
Thanks to everyone for the help. Every older Foretravel had the sensor about there. No exception I see. Cool.
Bob
On my 95 u320 the sensor is under
The sofa, just behind the drivers seat.
On my 01 it is under the slide out pantry. I had to replace it a few months ago with the new version. I had it mounted on the ceiling of the storage bay right next to the HWH box. The new one levels so much faster it is amazing.
It should be within four feet of the computer.
Mine was hiding under a heater duct under the end of the sofa.
John, mine was 10 foot away but now is five inches away.
