Not sure how to put this issue into the general forum so consider it a HEAT issue, I guess.
Went thru my coach replacing the Incandescent bulbs with LED's and found one lamp shade in the aft Passenger side of the Stateroom burned from bulb heat. This had been damage done prior to my ownership as i had never turned on this particular lamp. I feel fairly comfortable, that the materials used in the lamp shade are fire "retardant", but....you might want to check out your shades/bulbs, etc.
I have replaced mine, as many have, with LEDs which should reduce heat.............probably wise to at least check the clearance between bulb and fabric.
