Gary & Jane Bouland stopped by to visit and spend the night with us on the way home from Colo. We knew when they pulled out the next morning that this might be their last camp ground so I took pictures as they left. Gary posted yesterday that he has started to unload and do what is needed to make the coach ready for sale, so it looks official. I'm sure his emotions are on a roller coaster right now. A lot of us will have to make the same decision some day.
Katie & I spent many years living and traveling in five Foretravels and we have been to many rallys with Gary & Jane and also attended some rallys with the original owners of that coach. I hope to meet the new owners some day. They will get a good one as Gary has maintained it well.
Gary & Jane have stayed with us several times and Sandy & I will miss their stop overs. Here are some pictures of their last camp ground and their departure.

Sort of like a "chapter in life" seeing him go I guess. Funny I have not met any of you but it seems sad looking at your photos. Of course we wish them the best in their next whatever they do next.

Gary and Jane stayed overnight next to our shop during their big trip last year and it was great to meet them. Their U280 was the first of that type I had seen and I must admit that, next to our little U225 it looked BIG! They spent some time with us on our veranda and it was a real treat to meet them.
His coach is pretty much exactly what I would like to move up into once we get Baja trips (and kayaking in the Sea of Cortez around Loreto) out of our system. Someone is going to get a great RV; I just hope they appreciate it.
Sad to see them driving away. I know we'll all face that one day. Wife's parents just sold their last motorhome as neither one of them feels safe driving it even though they downsized to a Class C. Took it to the dealer from whom they have bought at least ten RVs over the past 50 years and it sold in 5 days! Sue and I have been married for 40 years and the first motor home I ever saw was a Champion owned by her parents.
Prices are up, by the way. Up by a lot on local craigslist pages for Foretravels so I'm sure they'll do ok.

I know how much Gary loves that motorhome and am sure it hurts him a great deal to sell it. I know I am not looking forward to that day in our lives. Motorhomes are such a great way to travel and see this great country of ours. Thanks for the pictures Gary O.
