Title: Step Courtesy Light
Post by: Carol & Scott on August 18, 2013, 02:48:54 pm
Anyone know where I can find the other end of the wire for this light?  My meter shows no power when the middle stair switch is on.  The other two lights - one below the bath vanity and in the head are lit.  All three lights must have a junction somewhere.  It is not by the switch behind the front panel in front of the passenger seat.

Thanks

I have a much older coach, but might that light come on with the outside overhead porch light (i.e. when you touch the outside handle) ?

You might look into the "box" at the side of the passenger seat...where the step switch is located and the magazine rack.  When Foretravel was trying to figure out my porch light difficulty, that's the area they were checking out.

Don't know when that light is supposed to turn on or by what.  Will check for power tomorrow by turning on the porch light.

Looked at the box referenced above. Really haven't looked at it closely before.  Flipped a switch... and ...WOW - We have Ground Lights.....  :))  and are they cool.

Ours comes on when the other two (galley and head) come on.  There is a switch above the bed near the clock.  Night light?

I'll look for that switch too.  Always learning new things.  That's a good thing.
