If you wanted some hand scraped hickory- this is what it would look like
Once again, you have shown you are the master. Love the fit, and do like that choice of wood and color.
Very nice! Enjoy. I need to get in line with Ernie soon.
Ernie,
Great looking flooring. Is it in an Prevost LXII or an H3-45? The cabinets give it away as it not being a Foretravel. Or at least I think so.
Absolutely love the fit where it meets the granite and the cabinets also. Really nice looking. Wonder how the finish would hold up with big Koda trying to get traction?

Pierce, I'm very surprised that Trip's Claws don't seem to affect our hardwood in the kitchen area. Don't you also have harwood in your coach?
Ernie, the color looks like it would match the darker wood in our Foretravels very well but its hard to tell from a photo. What do you think?
Kent,
Just the OEM parquet. When it gets scratched, I use Old English on it. It seems to restore anything.
The best wooden ladders use second growth ash rails and hickory rungs. Hard and super strong.

Tom and Bill- a keen eye you have. It is an 06 Marathon and has been sitting here for a week. Neighbors think we won the lottery.
Old English is a great product.
I have had folks match cabinets and some folks want a contrast. Lots of choices these days.
Ernie installed vinyl tile in our coach. Beighley would not move around in the coach while it was in motion. We added some area rugs before heading out on the current adventure. She gets enough traction that she will now join us in the front while under way and then return to her pad. We need to get a rug for the step well cover. That is one of her favored places to ride, and she won't go there on the vinyl tile -- no traction.
We haven't seen any evidence of marks she has left on the vinyl. I don't recall any damage on the OEM hardwood, just slobber after "treat time." That was easy to clean up. ;)
We have a birch wood floor in the stx&brx and have a dog. A hardwood floor needs to have character, right. It is pretty much scratched up evenly everywhere now after 8 years and looks great! ;D
