Pushing the Start button on my Onan 7.5 KW (Kubota) turns on fuel pump (can hear and feel it pulsing), get 13.5 V to solenoid in generator control box, but no current for ignition. Batteries are new 8 D gels. We are in West Texas , trying to get back to Nac and really need the roof AC's desperately. It looks like we're just going to have to suck it up and forge ahead..
Six weeks ago we used the generator three days straight with no issues, shut it off until today..
Any ideas?
Don,
The Onan DKD has circuit DC control breakers on the control face, question would be, Does the solenoid pull in on the injection pump ? and does the engine crank/rotate ? or just clicks ?
I need your email address to send the manuals.

Engine doesn't crank; solenoid doesn't move; no clicks at all. I'll send no. Later.

Don ---- According to my electrical schematic for our 91 GV, that generator solenoid is fed from the coach battery via the main disconnect switch which could have been bumped out of place. The problem might be there. Have a great day ---- Fritz
Dave.
Model is 7.5 DKDF-J. ONLY fuel pump makes clicking.
