Can anyone point me in the right direction? I am looking for websites that will give me some interior ideas for renovating my 99" U270. I have some ideas but want to see what is available out there. I am new to this as I inheirited my Coach from my Father and I want to make the interior and exterior something I know he would like as this coach was his prode and joy.
I want to update the electronics, furniture, flooring and make this coach stand out. After reading replies to provious posts I made about only spending 10k on the interior and getting told basically that would not be enough, I am willing to do just the interior and repaint the graphics on the coach istead of a full paint job as I really dont have the funds to do both. I figure I will be living inside so that should take priority, however; I cannot get too wild and crazy with the remodel.
Your comments and input leading me to websites to assist me with this remodel would be appreciated.
Thanking you all in advance.
Ron
Flooring upgrades are really a great way to dramatically change and freshen the interior of your coach. Just decide what you want under your feet. I don't know about any websites ... but if you are planning on getting the most out of what you are planning to spend, then it makes sense to plan a trip to Nacogdoches and get up close and personal with the guys who set the bar for extraordinary work. Visit David Flanagan and the crew at Foretravel and take a look at the photos he has in an album ... and then look at some of the coaches in progress. Talk to other owners in the parking lot, and take a look in their rigs and see what they have done. We have gotten outstanding ideas from seeing other coaches ... and also realized what we did NOT want. Visit Xtreme Paint & Graphics and look at what they are doing ... and they also have photos on their new website. But there is nothing like seeing it in person. You just need to visit "Meccadoches" and see for yourself. You may be able to accomplish a good deal of the interior work yourself ... don't know your abilities or expertise ... but seeing works in progress may tell you if you want to attempt it.
Thanks Carol.... Your answers to my last post and the long laugh at the end made me realize that the interior is more important to me than the exterior.......... I want to make some changes and update the coach but unfortunately I do have a budget....... I really appreciate your comments and everyone elses on the forum. I have only owned the coach for a year and I really want it to say "ME" and I will go to Meccadoches and see the folks there and start setting things up ASAP.......
Thanks for your opinions on everything......If you have anything else that might help me during this transition, please let me know as I am open for suggestions on what will look good in my coach and what works well for others.......

David will be at the grandvention with a PowerPoint of upgrades. Decide what you want done. In order of our likes is new driver and passenger seats, residential fridge, MCD blinds new flooring and new TVs and our dining bar. You could get all of that plus the graphics painted on for the price of a full body paint job.
Oh and I second going to talk to David F too. Carol is right, they are the best.
Thanks for the information. I would love to go to the convention to see everyone, but I am currently sitting in Kazakhstan working. I wont be home until the 28th of Sept. I will head up to the Mecca when I get back and visit with the FOT personnel on all the things that I want to get done.
I am sitting here looking at my pictures, making a power point and writing on there what I want done.
Lots of choices out there
If you look at the top of the site there is a menu. Click on "Photos/Files" there are lots of pictures of mods owners have made.

I understand that you are not super local right now. There are loads of pictures on here of the upgrades done. David can email you some too.
Thanks I will get with them when I get home from work......
And remember ... you can really take your time and do things one at a time, as they make sense. You don't have to reinvent things overnight. Hang out in the coach for a while and figure out what is really going to make you happiest and most comfortable according to your lifestyle and the way you use the coach. Will you live in it full time? Weekend trips? Weeks or months at a time? Travel alone or with company? Dry camp a lot? You can go a million ways. As long as you are loving the coach and making it shine, you are honoring your dad's tradition.
UPDATE!!!! Bill Chaplin needs to share a STUNNING photo of the interior of his coach ... recently completed at the Factory. Holy Cow!!!
David Flanagan spent a good amount of time with us yesterday expanding on the art of the possible in remodeling. He is very good at explaining what his shop can do. Turns out that they can do just about anything and then some. I knew we were in trouble when Mary started picking up samples with a glazed look in her eyes! As Carol says if you make it to Nac it is a real education and worth the time.
