I'm removing the day-nite shades. All are down except for the one over the kitchen sink. Looking behind it with a mirror, see some sort of clips instead of the screws in the other shades. How do I release these? Snap down in the front, pull straight out, find a magic tool? Hate to just start prying.
Thanks
On my 1996, the day/night blinds are held up with clips which have screws holding them to the upper window sill. The blinds then are just pushed against these clips, and if aligned correcting they snap into place. A two inch wide paint scraper or a small ply bar with a sharp edge can be pushed up to release the clip. The difficulty is getting the ply bar in the correct location, while looking up.
Maybe your kitchen blind is like mine. Your other blinds are not because the screws which hold the clips are not visible until the blind is removed.
Thanks Wyatt - A 1" metal blade putty knife did it. One of the clips was bent when installed so quite stubborn to release. Made me think I was prying wrong but the blind is out now.
Mike, are you getting rid of the shades as my Brother would be interested to pay mail costs. what are the lengths of them all?

John- We're planning to get rid of them if the replacements don't work out. We're putting in miniblinds, like the idea of open windows combined with light control. Will post next Spring if we decide not to go back to the day-night shades.
