Title: Oil and fuel additives
Post by: fkjohns6083 on September 09, 2013, 10:38:53 am
I use the diesel fuel additive from Power Service and just wonder on occasion as to whether it is necessary and or cost effective.  I also was told by a trucker relative to use ATF due to the low lubricity of the low sulphur diesel that we get these days.  I use a quart in every 100 gallons.  Thoughts/comments??  Thanks and have a great day  ----  Fritz

If you search the forum (especially Tech Talk) for additives, you'll find 2 pages of threads on the subject.  Here are some of the top threads to get you started :)  :

And if your ATF is red in color, pay particular note to John S.'s comments in that last thread.
