Has anyone signed up and how does it work
Just use the link and go to the website. Upper right hand corner ... Log In or Register. Hit Register, and folllow the instructions. I am waiting for them to approve my information and send me a temporary password. I also have a common / mail forwarding address, so there may be some finagling. Their system flags these "duplicated" addresses, to avoid spammers and they have to perform some computer magic to allow our registration. After we get our temporary password, we can reset it ot one I can actually remember. This is SUCH a very nice opportunity!!
I am also in the wait for password stage.
I've gone through the process and waiting for the cards to show up. I'm full time so the cards will go to my mail service then forwarded to me. Will probably take a couple of weeks to have them in my hands.
I did some reading on the Prevost site and the members there are pretty happy with the plan so seems legit. I'm taking a chance with it based on their reviews.
The online signup form requires the first 3 and last 4 digits of your coach vin. Unfortunately they expect a Prevost vin and our Foretravel vin will not work. Email Jon after you attempt to use your Foretravel vin and he will assign a valid Prevost vin. After that was done I navigated to the signup page and the vin was automagically filled in. Finish filling out the form and you're on your way.

Do all FT VINs start with 1F9 (that's our first 3), and if so, I wonder if Jon could modify the online signup to accept this and save himself some work?
Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, or have unique connectivity issues, but .... I joined the Prevost Group, got the password, but no success getting to the discount registration. There is a link on the home page, but for me it's inop. Also, I have not been asked for a VIN. Any direction appreciated...

I just tried clicking on the fuel discount program on the PrevostCommunity forum and it worked for me.
When you got your password, did you log-in and change the password to one of your choosing?

My 1995 vin starts with 1F9 too.
According to my VIN decoder, 1F9 was assigned to Foretravel by NHTSA and all of their VINs will start with 1F9.
I got my password fine, then I emailed about joining just the Michelin Tire program at this point (and got a quick response that it was fine) and then filled out the NAPA application. Seemed smooth for those items.
I am keeping an eye in this one. Sounds good.
Better late than never, we are finally signing up for the program with not much time before our first big trip.... I have an e-mail in to Jon for the VIN help.
In the meantime, can someone relate how long from application until you receive your cards in the mail? I'll need that to figure out if the cards should come to the house or our mail service.

I use the Fuel Discount Program and I really appreciate it. That ten-cent-per-gallon discount is nice!
I've been a little concerned that the Love's nearest me dispenses B13, but so far no issues. Interestingly, the biodiesel blend is supposed to improve lubricity, something that was reduced in the ultra-low-sulfur diesel. We've have to see about the long-term results . . . .

I am also awaiting assignment of a password. This sounds like a super deal and I will be needing a set of Tires in the near future... :-)

@Mike The .10 off the cash price is nice but you can still find cheaper diesel at some of the independent truck stops. But...being able to pull up to the pump swipe your card, answer about 20 questions, pump your fuel and leave is worth it to me! Beats standing in line with about 20 smelly truck drivers waiting for approval then waiting in line again to pay. (I apologize in advance to any truck driver I may have offended in my previous remarks) :)
The 20 questions at the pump part is a pain but once you've done it a couple times it's no big deal. (Hint your Truck number is the pin Profit Tools gives you) PS really only about 6 or 9 questions.

There is a Loves in Hutchins, Tx on I 45 showing $3.39 cash price on Fuelbook. That makes $3.28 with discount. There are some deals out there. Pays to research when planning trip.
Diesel is more expensive here in the Dayton, Ohio area, but Love's price is competitive. With the ten-cent-per-gallon discount it's difficult to beat!
Got mine. Simple. Works great. You receive an email with your receipt and discount applied.

Tried to use my Prevost card at Loves today. It said it was an inactive card. This is the first time I tried to use it since it arrived. Was I supposed to activate the card after I received it?
I recall having to phone Alicia Allen at ProfitTools to activate it when you receive it. There should have been a letter with instructions with the cards.
You know guys don't read instructions.
Just bumping this benefit for newer members who might not have seen it.

Any detailed questions about the program should be directed to the administrator of the program, Profit Tools, not the forum.
Alicia called me a couple of weeks ago. She had seen that I had not used my card since issued. 2 years. She asked if I still wanted it as I haven't used it. I said I still wanted it active but would probably continue to use the Pilot card as they bill me once a month. She said OK.
I seldom use the card, but it has some advantages. The features I like about the Prevost Community/ProfitTools card are:
1) I can fill without having to go inside the station. With a MasterCard, I usually have to go inside twice: first to leave card and ask for a fill (over ~$125) and a second time to complete the transaction.
2) I can get a cash advance of up to $150. The cash advance does require one trip into the office to get your cash.
3) The discount helps to keep the price competitive with stations that offer good prices, but small spaces to maneuver a big vehicle.

I am a new Foretravel owner and new to this forum. I just followed both of these links and cannot find anything about either a fuel discount program, or a tire discount program. I am not in need of tires currently but can always use a fuel discount :)

I believe you have to join Prevost Community (http://www.prevostcommunity.com) and sign up as a member there first. Once a member of PC and signed into their website you should see the links to the discount programs.

I am mostly interested in the Tire Advantage Program. Is it still available? Do you use the fuel card in addition to your credit card or is it a credit card (we don't need another)?

The fuel cards you receive act somewhat like a debit card; you sign an EFT/ACH agreement with Profit Tools that authorizes them to pull from the bank account of your choosing. You use the cards to make your purchase at the pump (one for Loves, a different one for other participating truck fuel stops); Profit Tools then pulls the funds from your account, usually within 24 hours. There is no option for credit cards.
In depth questions should be addressed to to the plan administrator, Alicia Allen at Profit Tools.
We haven't yet used the tire portion of the program, but the fuel portion is a real benefit for us, and Alicia Allen is very pleasant and most helpful.
Not trying to hijack the post , just wondering does this program offer the best discount / price on michelins??
PC discount is the same as FMCA - both are the Michelin Advantage program.
