San Diego to Nac in 5 days with a day and a half stop over in Colton, CA for service. Next destination will NOT be so rushed. The coach performed well, cruising often at 70 (when the speed limit was 75 or 80) pulling our little toad. No incidents except I think we hit a gator which bent the rock guard back and sprung the bumper cover clips on the toad. Well, there was one thing, but that is another story ::) Anyway, we are here at the ladies driving school and looking forward to meeting any forum members who might happen to be here... all others will be assimilated ;D
Don and Tys
WooHoo - the maiden pilgrimage to Meccadoches is in the books!
Resistance is futile :D
We are here as well enjoying these big 8Ds in the absence of power to the pedistals. We look forward to meeting everyone tomorrow.
^.^d I feared the coach would never move from your shop! Woohoo! Enjoy!
We spent a few days in Bullard, TX, at the Mid-South Rally with a few of the folk that will be at FOT this week. There were Pourtravel meetings daily. Enjoy the stories you hear and tell. Some of them might even be true! ;)
Way to go, Don and Tys! Can't wait to hear the "other story".

Thanks Richard, I might be persuaded to tell you, but you would have to promise not to laugh... Naw, I gues I shouldn't ask for promises you wouldn't be able to keep ;D
Don
Never in doubt !
I have seen his work.
Don and Ty,
After closely following everything you have done to your coach- Foretravel may 'learn' a few things themselves!
Looking forward for chance to personally see your many changes, reconstruction and improvements- but most of all, getting to know the two of you Ed Pan
Fantastical!!! Congratulations. Just in time for the power outage at the campground.
Audrey and I have been looking and watching for y'all. Judging by the time of your entry we had company. I wondered about the campground about 8PM just in case you were here and outside. Too dark to see coaches and wasn't going to shine my light on coaches.
We are here hoping to squeeze in some minor service.
Will come a lookin for ya later this morning before the class starts at 10 AM.
Thanks everyone! I am in awe to see all these beautiful coaches surrounding us ;D Makes me feel a little self conscious with our bug splattered plain ol' U270. Oh well, just a work in progress. Harvey, we are in the third space (or just look for the bug terminator).
Don & Tys
Since Nac isn't Vegas, what happens there doesn't have to stay in Nac. Please share with those of us who can't attend, at least through photos posted to the forum. Would love to see pics of Fofums and their coaches in their native habitat ;)
Here you go. Will probably be sideways coming from my phone.
Waaaaahhhh! Makes me wish I was there!! Have a great time, everyone.
Great news Don and Tys. Wish we were there too. See ya down the road. Enjoy the Class.

Jackie made it through the first day of Ladies Driving School.
It sounds to me a bit more like Ladies Operating School.....she immediately came in asking if I knew if we had a wet tank, where to drain it. Even the coach the instructor showed them blew out some dust and water....not so good on the water part as I understand it. She said they covered about 18 pages today in the instruction manual. I thought it would be only about driving, this is more inclusive and that is great.
She had a great time meeting folks from Oklahoma, some full-timers....he is an Olympic Bicyclist! Then some folks we had met recently, Sandy. And a lady as I hear it drove in from So. California for the class.
Was a well-organized day, lots of nice folks, good instructors, much to see and hear. Still some trepidation about driving, but better them teach than me.....yep, that is the way to go.
Weather great too.
Cheers,
Mike
