Title: No longer a "newbie"
Post by: Old Hippie on October 22, 2013, 11:48:16 am
I just noticed that I was promoted from Newbie to Jr. Member. I guess I will need to offer more solutions now rather than asking so many questions. Problem is I am still learning.
What is the next milestone?

"Full member".  It's based on post count :)

Why am I a newbie? Member Classifications (http://www.foreforums.com/index.php?topic=9657.0)

OH,

Congrats!  Keep asking, start answering, express opinions.  That first step is small, they keep getting bigger.

Wow. If it's based on post count, I could go from Newbie to Super Hero within a couple of weeks of us getting a "new to us Foretravel".  Get your brains and fingers ready.  I'm going to have lots of questions! ;D

Asking questions and getting answers is the only way this old, bald, fat man can learn.  Through this process, sometimes painful,  I haven't screwed up too many things that have cost much $$$$$.  I can thank the folks on this forum for answering my questions and putting up with my phone calls not to mention our wonderful moderators and the SEARCH function..........

When we buy our FT hopefully next spring or summer, I'll be here doing the same thing, learning from this forum. Having been a member of a variety of forums, this is the best forum that I have ever encountered.

I'd rather ask 1,000 questions before writing a large check than ask the same question 1,000 times afterward.

I'm guessing that this forum has at least 1,000 Questions - and if there are at least 1,000 questions there must be at least 4,000 answers.  :D

I have a feeling I'll be a newbie long after my post count says otherwise.  I agree I would rather ask 1000 question before write $$$$$$ in a check lol
