This FT looks to be in wonderful condition based on the pictures. It might be of help to a FT Homeless seeker.
Used 1991 Foretravel Class A Motor Home (http://joplin.craigslist.org/rvd/4179214192.html)
Btw, not mine and I have nothing to do with it, except to admire the beauty of this grand old lady.
Yup, gasoline rig.
That would be on a John Deere chassis with a 460 Ford engine
Realiy useable coach. I almost prefer that setup. Four burner, oven, angled galley, flexsteel recliner, Mylar shades and insulated drapes, front drop leaf table, seperate ice maker.
Has the big triangle shower if memory serves me.
Bet it has two post tables in the closet.....
Ate many meals using the post tables on the couch looking out the passenger side mid window.
miss those days.

Only if front engine....
From the photos, it is a front engine (Not OREG).
Bob.... Post tables???

Foretravel used to have a small cabinet made out of cedar in the closet that had two Formica wood grained rectangular table tops in it. 18x24? Plus two steel poles about 30" high.
In front of the couch were two metal female fittings for the posts to fit into. Carpet plugged normally. The post tables had their female bracket mounted at the opposite corners from each other so they were left and right handed.
If you sat on the couch you could swivel the table tops on the posts to allow access in between them then when seated turn them parallel to the couch and use them like TV trays.
Having the drop leaf across from them allowed a place to put extra food without a long walk to the kitchen counter.
I used to make up double drop leaf tables to go in the middle of the floor in the front of the coach. Two posts in the floor for mounting. Both sides lifted up for a large table surfaces needs.
Mike grimes will remember as will james Triana all this old stuff.
I am trying to remember where the double drop leaf stored. I think the closet. Fairly narrow top.

Bob, I'm sure glad you are active on the forum. I enjoy the Foretravel trivia. Look forward to meeting you some day.
I spotted this rig in the dealers lot 2 weeks ago taking the grands back home. Came back through to look and it had a sold sticker on the windshield wipers. I didn't even get out thinking it was sold. It must have been when the dealer bought it. I was surprised to see a GV on the lot. Shame it is a gasser. Still looking for the right diesel :D
